David Coombs, CEO, has over 25 years of executive management and entrepreneurial experience. Prior to Coreopsys, he was CEO of iVivity, Inc, an Atlanta, Georgia start-up and CEO of RSV, a Silicon Valley start-up. Mr. Coombs has also held positions as Operations EVP at Hitachi Data Systems, where he was responsible for managing a $2B P&L; VP of Worldwide Sales and Marketing for Digital Equipment Corporation; and, various top management and executive positions with other companies in the computer industry, including Archive, Contel, Ampex, and RCA. ^ TOP Santosh Pande, CTO, is a tenured faculty member in Computer Science and Systems in the College of Computing at Georgia Tech. He is Associate Director for Research at STI (Sony Toshiba and IBM) Center of Competence and also leads its compiler research group. Dr. Pande co-founded one of the top embedded systems conferences (ACM SIGPLAN LCTES) and helped start a new program at NSF on embedded and hybrid systems (EHS). He has had several successful technology transfer collaborations with a number of industries – notably with Intel, Infineon, Greenhills Software, Sony, Toshiba, and IBM. Dr. Pande holds a joint patent with Infineon on Program Partitioning for Smart Cards. He holds over a million dollars of funding through NSF and industry-sponsored research. Dr. Pande was co-PI of many large DARPA projects and was also a lead investigator and consultant on key initiatives. ^ TOP
