Welcome to Corista, where we are developing a new generation of integrated digital medical imaging systems. Our focus is to revolutionize image processing, compression, and distribution of pathology images. This will bring a new level of capability to the diagnosis, collaboration and patient care in the area of Digital Pathology. Corista’s system, called Digital Pathology Processing Platform (DP3), will capture, manage, losslessly compress, distribute and archive the digital images of anatomic specimens for use by pathologists. DP3’s objective is to substantially reduce image file size without impacting the image quality or diagnostic viability. DP3’s technical innovations in the areas of image management, transport, and archiving, will give physicians the opportunity to radically reorganize and restructure the practice of Pathology. Corista’s digital pathology technology will enable a new level of collaborative diagnosis, patient care, efficiency, and education through an integrated system to manage virtual Pathology images for use by Healthcare providers, whether separated by 10 feet, 10 floors or 10,000 miles.
