Cornerstone Chamber of Commerce is a member-driven organization encouraging the growth of business through networking, advocacy, visibility and benefits for all of our members. What's the difference between Cornerstone Chamber of Commerce and Cornerstone Alliance? Please allow us to explain the difference between the two organizations. "Creating individual opportunity in a world-class community through partnerships" is the vision of Cornerstone Alliance. Providing "World-class membership services" is the vision of Cornerstone Chamber of Commerce - common yet distinctive endeavors. Cornerstone Chamber of Commerce is a 501c6 member-driven organization that services existing businesses with member benefits, networking events, visibility opportunities, business-education seminars and serves as an advocate tracking legislation that is important to our business community. Cornerstone Alliance is a 501c3 investor-driven organization that provides economic development support through business attraction and retention, small business services, the Women's Business Center and the First Choice program. We are two legally separate organizations that work together to improve the economic viability of Michigan's Great Southwest. By maintaining separate accounting, separate boards, and staff we track all income and expenditures independently.
