Our only asset is our tutors. We owe our success to their devotion and professionalism. Our reputation rests entirely on their shoulders. The Cornerstone board carefully screens all applicants. All tutors must have classroom experience and be qualified to teach in their discipline. Mrs. Boord graduated from Frostburg State University in 1993 with a BS in Chemistry. She then went on to acquire a Maryland teaching certificate. She taught Chemistry and Honors Chemistry at Arundel H.S. for 2 years and at Severna Park H.S. for 3 years before resigning to take care of her family. She is currently a stay at home mom with 4 children and a Chemistry tutor for Tutor.com. She joined Cornerstone in 2008 and is thrilled to once again be in a classroom setting sharing her love of Chemistry.
