Description

Heidi Strickland has been physically active and involved with sports throughout her life, which helped influence her love for exercise and nutrition now. Soccer, snow- boarding, dance, and cheerleading have been her passion and took up most of her time. She played soccer for over 15 years for many club teams throughout Utah and also participated as a varsity cheerleader for two years for Mountain Crest High School. After graduating high school, Heidi continued her education at the University of Utah. This is where she received her Bachelors of Science in Exercise and Sports Science with a minor in nutrition in May 2009. During her time at the U, Heidi was involved in an internship working with Adults with disabilities and providing exercise to them, as well as working with the Utah Football team performing injury treatment and prevention. Heidi has been employed with the Corporate Wellness Program since July 2008. As the Wellness Director, she has enjoyed helping create a successful wellness program that is helping change lives. She loves working with the public in coaching, training, and educating them on the importance of health and wellness.

OREM - - Even a company focused on production and output can be equally dedicated to enhancing the lives of their employees. U.S. Synthetic is one of those organizations. “Our company vision is to improve lives,” said Wesley Gillies, Benefits and Wellness Manager for U.S.

As of July 2007, the Bureau of Labor Statistics reported that Utah had the third lowest unemployment rate in the nation at 2.7% and holding steady.4 For a sales manager, this is great news. It means the economy is booming and sales are up. For a recruiter or human resource manager, low unemployment means longer hours and higher stress. Gym membership and a wellness program can be amazing tools in your efforts to attract the highest quality employees to your company without offering over-inflated salaries.
