Cortese Designs was established in 1999, Marci Cortese had her own sports accessory company at the time. When Jim Cortese was changing jobs, we decided to start the sock business. Marci's golf and tennis customers were telling her that they wanted a cool dry performance sock with bold designs. We saw a need for this type of sock and started the business. We call our sock "happy feet" because they feel so good on your feet. Marci has had 15 years in the sports accessories business. She is well known in the southwestern states and Hawaii. At Cortese Designs, she is in charge of creating new style patterns, managing our sales representatives, sales, brochures and travel planning. Jim Cortese has had a career in Large, medium and small business, working in the accounting & finance areas as controller. He is strong in computers, has had an income tax business, and had varied experiences in many different kinds of businesses. At Cortese Designs his duties are: managing day to day business, shipping, calling on customers, inventory, and company growth. Our vision for Cortese Designs is to continue to sell the best feeling performance socks with bold designs for golf and tennis players. We pledge to give our customers the best service they deserve.
