For over 35 years, Cosmetech Laboratories has been developing formulations for the personal care and OTC markets. We have different product development programs designed to fit your R&D needs. Exclusive Development Program (EDP) The EDP is best suited for those who need to own the formulations. Under EDP, clients have ownership and exclusive rights to the custom formulations developed to meet their specifications. At the end of the development process, clients own the formulations including any patent rights and have the option to use any contract manufacturer of their choice. Formula Licensing Program (FLP) FLP offers clients a cost effective alternative to meet their product development needs. Under the FLP, clients can either license a creative formulation from our Innovation Vault or can have a product developed to meet their specifications. At the end of the development process, clients license the use of the formulation without exclusive rights to the basic formula. Clients have the flexibility to use any contract manufacturer of their choice to have the formulations produced and filled. Evaluation of Raw Materials Cosmetech Laboratories can evaluate new raw materials to determine their relative performance versus currently market leaders. We can compare your raw material to materials of the same or similar chemistry or materials based on different chemistry but similar functionality. We can also develop personal care formulations to guide the formulation chemist that is interested in using your material.
