Hawaiian Astronomical Society Founded in 1949, the Hawaiian Astronomical Society is a tax-exempt, non-profit organization dedicated to promoting astronomy in Hawaii. HAS is affiliated with the Western Amateur Astronomers.

Cosmic Adventures was established in June 2005 as a Limited Liability Company. The goal of the company is to provide exciting, enriching and educational astronomy programs to schools and the general public for a reasonable cost. The planetarium can be set up in almost any large room, and the digital projector has almost limitless capacity to display the wonders of the universe.
