Yes, it's true. After ten and a half years Online, Cosmik Debris Magazine has gone the way of the dinosaurs. When she first flickered into existence in June of 1995, the WWW wasn't so much the World Wide Web as the Wild Wild West. Most people were still using 28.8 baud modems, and most Web sites were all text all the time. Cosmik was weird from the git-go, appearing as an executable file that could be downloaded and run. That file turned the user's screen into a magazine, with links, sounds and pictures in glorious color. By issue #4 Cosmik was right there in your browser window, albeit in tiny frames (remember that craze?) Now, ten and a half years later, all the other mags have fallen off the Web and new ones have replaced them.
