CoSoL Commercial Real Estate was established in 1984 as a small but specialized full service commercial brokerage firm serving the greater Stanislaus/ San Joaquin regional trade areas. Thomas C. Solomon and Tim L. Bettencourt who together have over 45 years of commercial real estate experience in the subject trade area formed the company. As a logical extension of their business, CoSoL Management Group was formed in 1994. Janet Akard was made partner in the management arm, and is primarily responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Management Group. Jake Maiorino joined Cosol as an Associate in May of 2006.
