35+ years experience in electronic development in measurement and control specializing in Mixed signal and Digital ASIC development. With positions including director and VP of ASIC development Gary has lead the successful development for three startup ventures. Broad experience in all engineering aspects, hardware, board level, system level and chip level design. His key strength is in architectural definition at all levels. Gary also served as adjunct professor at University of Va in conjunction with General Electric Advanced course in Engineering.

Technology start-up: This early stage company was filled with many PhDs, but few business people. The product initially chosen to utilize their new technology was a large, costly, elaborate piece of capital equipment with a limited market size. But this device provided many interesting engineering challenges for the PhDs to address - something they enjoyed. During a six month period, I was given complete access to the firm and was able to interview employees, customers, competitors, and suppliers to develop an understanding of the technology and market potential.
