Description
The Counseling and Assessment Service, P.C. is staffed by Rick L. Jennings, Ph.D., Licensed Psychologist, George M. Harper, Ed.D., Licensed Psychologist, and Seth Brown, Ph.D, Licensed Psychologist. Dr. Rick Jennings received his Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology from the University of Iowa, is licensed by the Iowa Department of Health and certified as a Health Service Provider in Psychology. He is also a Certified School Psychologist. Dr. Jennings is Past President of the Iowa Psychological Association and past member of the Iowa Board of Psychology Examiners. He currently provides services primarily to adolescents and adults. Dr. George Harper received his Ed.D. from the University of Northern Iowa, is licensed by the Iowa Department of Health, is certified as a Health Service Provider in Psychology and is a Certified School Psychologist. Dr. Harper joined the Counseling and Assessment Service in 1992 after 18 years of professional service to the Keystone Area Education Agency. He currently provides services to clients of all ages. Dr. Harper has been trained and is experienced in providing Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) for the treatment of trauma and other disorders. Dr. Seth Brown received his Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from the University of New Mexico, is licensed by the Iowa Department of Health, and certified as a Health Service Provider in Psychology. Dr. Brown joined Counseling and Assessment Service in 2003 following a fellowship appointment at the University of Maryland Medical School. He currently provides services to adolescents and adults, and has received advanced training working with severe mental illness and behavioral medicine issues. Dr. Brown is also currently an Assistant Professor of Psychology at the University of Northern Iowa.
