Description

Douglas Freeman received his Ph.D. in Psychology in 1977 from the University of Florida. He served as program director of the local public mental health facility from 1977 to 1980 when he entered independent practice of psychology in the Unifour area. He was a founding partner of the Counseling Group, Inc., in 1981. He provides therapy and evaluation services to children, adolescents and adults and serves as a professional consultant to police departments. He has been an adjunct assistant professor of Psychology at Lenoir-Rhyne College for over 25 years. Dr.

Bob Giduz earned his M.Ed. in Guidance and Counseling from UNC-Chapel Hill in 1978 and an M.A. in Clinical Psychology from Appalachian State University in 1991. He has worked as a therapist and trainer for drug intervention and drug prevention agencies in Charlotte, N.C. He was the Dean of Students at the Patterson School in Lenoir, N.C. where he worked extensively with students and their parents. He began working with the Counseling Group, Inc. in 1991 and opened their Lenoir office that same year.

The Counseling Group, inc. has been providing Employee Assistance Services to area businesses and organizations since 1981.
