In 1992 Dean Chambers decided to go into another business. When his daughter, Judy Wilson found out, she asked to buy the business. Judy had worked at Textron Aerostructures in Nashville and Boeing Aircraft in Wichita, KS, and had management experience and was familiar with the construction business. Judy Wilson, along with John Paulauskas took over the business in 1992. The name was then changed to Country Dutch Barns, and a full line of gazebos, greenhouses, carports, arbors, and bridges were added to the product line. The business became very successful, but in 1998, Judy and John decided to sell the business to Crosslin Supply Co., a major lumber supply business in middle Tennessee. Crosslin Supply Co. keeps all of the same employees that had been with the company for over 25 years. Crosslin Supply Co. has been a great asset to Country Dutch Barns and has enabled our operation to expand even more. We are now building a new facility in which we hope to be moved into by September of 2000. Our new location will be just " mile down the street, at 8040 Horton Hwy. in Triune. Country Dutch Barns through the years has built a reputation for quality, workmanship, and customer service. We use the very best material and carpenters available. Our buildings are interlocked at all four corners, so they won't spread apart or separate. We double brace them at all four corners and we interlock every single truss on the plate. ...
