My wife Pamela and I started Country Fresh Fudge in 1989 next to the foothills of the smokey mountains in a small town named Oliver Springs. At that time we owned two convenience stores and delis where we made and sold fudge to our customers. We were constantly told that our fudge was much better than the other fudges people had tried in Gatlinburg, Tennessee. It was at that time that we realized that we could offer our customers the very finest product of it's kind with an extremly innovative fudge vending program. We understood that for some people, making their own fudge was not a proffitable or enjoyable fudge selling venture and we offered a product that was not only superior but easy to sell. Since then, we have strived to create the perfect fudge, changing our recipes numerous times until they were perfect and to this day as technology changes so do we. We are a company built on values and a reputation that honesty before proffit is always the way to go. These are values I learned as child working in my mothers bakery. I learned that the customer is what your here for. If it's not right to them, then it just isn't right. We are a company that understands the value of our customers. On November 6, 2003 our plant, offices, and warehouse were all destroyed by fire. The only thing that was saved before the fire consumed everything was our file server and one forklift.
