Our Heritage: Countryside was created in 1959, when Bill and Katherine Hameder made a business of sharing their knowledge of, love and compassion for flowers, shrubs and trees with many local patrons. Our Growth: The present owners Richard Harms and James Riedl, purchased Countryside in 1973. The nursery was expanded from 13 to 32 acres. In order to satisfy customers needs, Garden Valley Greenhouses was purchased as a growing facility. This facility now supplies the main complex with quality annual and seasonal plants. Our Commitment: Our product variety is both impressive, extensive, and annually reviewed by our professional staff to ensure peak performance!
