Covalent Coating Technologies is a hard coating systems company. We design coatings for specific needs often working intimately with the customer to create the optimal substrate-coating system possible. We work with our customers and based on their needs develop the surface preparation technology and the coating manufacturing technology that suits our customer.

Covalent has many years of experience working with Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) practices. We are acquainted with FAR 21 and FAR 145 systems. We have experience developing coatings and coating processes from inception to approval in an aerospace environment. We understand well the Configuration Management, systems and tools to ensure product configuration.

Covalent Coating Technology (CCT) has worked with MoSci Corporation to develop a novel coating processes that envelops titanium with a Bio-Active Glass that will revolutionize the implant market by creating a more bio-friendly surface. Significant innovation on this patent pending process, has enabled CCT to prove it's capability to coat various geometries and sizes of medical grade titanium alloy.

Mr. Bailey as Founder and President will use his year of experience to lead CCT. Mr. Bailey has been working in the aerospace field for over 20 years. Prior to his current role, he was Director of Manufacturing Quality for Pratt & Whiney overseeing OEM quality operations. Mr. Bailey has managed coating operations within Pratt & Whitney which provide excellent experience. Mr. Orville Bailey is a materials scientist (MS) and certified Shainin Red-X Master.

Covalent Coating Technologies was born from a fusion of experiences in aerospace and medical materials. From a plasma sprayed combustor can to an EB-PVD turbine airfoil, Covalent has experience in aerospace coatings; in new product design; and in aftermarket product refurbishing. We understand the service environments, the coating technologies and the regulatory requirements necessary to successfully develop your aerospace part.
