Our Company CoverageCo is an innovative new company focused on providing technology neutral cellular coverage to underserved markets throughout the United States. We are led by industry veterans from the tower, infrastructure, and carrier industries. Our customers are cellular carriers interested in providing an expanded footprint to their subscribers through an inbound roaming model.

The VTA plans to provide $500,000 to support CoverageCo’s planned 2012 deployment from its state capital appropriations. CoverageCo’s deployment will use a low cost, innovative approach to providing service in under-served cellular areas. The planned network will use small-cell radio equipment installed on utility poles and other existing structures to provide service to existing cellular carriers.

Richard Biby, CEO and Board Member Mr. Biby is the owner and publisher of AGL magazine, a publication focused on the antenna siting industry. He served as the Chief Technology Officer of Crown Castle International, and an active Radio Frequency consulting engineer, provided professional engineering services to the siting industry for many years. He has enjoyed active participation in professional industry associations and standards (including AFCCE, APCO, TIA, IEEE and PCIA) and governmental advisory committees for the FCC.
