Covington Associates is a specialty investment banking firm founded in 1991 by Chris Covington. Having prior experience in running investment banking groups for Shearson American Express, Robertson Stephens, and Volpe & Covington, Chris decided to pursue an alternative to the large investment banking model. Since its founding over a decade ago, the vision for Covington Associates has been to remain a smaller and more focused organization in order to offer clients the highest caliber of senior-level attention.Our firm offers advisory services in the areas of mergers and acquisitions ("M&A") as well as debt and equity capital raising. In addition, we provide valuations, fairness opinions, restructurings, divestitures and strategic advisory services. Our professionals have broad backgrounds in investment banking, venture capital, operations and consulting.
