Covington Contracting is experienced in all phases of land development from site design/planning, through execution of all infrastructure. Over the last 30 years, the company has developed several subdivisions in the cities of Chesapeake, Virginia Beach and Norfolk. Our staff is experienced in navigating through the myriad regulatory agencies involved in land development to bring about project completion in a timely manner.

A full service real estate company founded in 1981, Covington & Associates Realtors has handled the brokerage of properties valued in excess of 150 million dollars. Additionally it has managed an extensive portfolio of both residential and commercial properties in its history. Its agents are committed to handling all business in an ethical and professional manner. The company has been a member in good standing with the Virginia Association of Realtors and the Tidewater Association of Realtors since 1981.

Joe and his wife have two children. Their daughter, Erin, is married and living in Raleigh, NC. In 2005, they welcomed their son, Graham, to the company. Graham comes to Covington Contracting with a degree in Construction Management from East Carolina University and several years of experience in specialized commercial building. Since his return to Norfolk, Graham has directly supervised over fifteen million dollars of land development and construction in the Hampton Roads area.
