Cox Electronics

Description

I have been in the sound business most of my life. After attending college, I started at a local stereo retailer selling and installing home stereo systems. In 1978, I went to work for a large commercial company that marketed sound systems, nurse call, and school intercoms systems. After several years, I received my Journeyman Installer certificate from the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers local 584. In 1983, I was promoted to estimating sales and project manager for large projects. This coupled with my installation experience allowed me to gain invaluable knowledge on planning, design, installation, and owner training for a multitude of systems. I worked hand in hand with architects, engineers, and owners to design working systems to meet their needs. In 1987, the company was sold and I started my own business. My company can perform many services for you. These include: installation of systems in new or existing facilities, service and repair of many systems, inspection, testing and certification of fire alarm systems, sound system equalization, rental of sound systems for meetings, and many other services.
