CRStudio4 is a handmade ceramic and metal tile studio located in sunny southern California. We have been in business for about 20 years. We are one of the few tile production studios that can say we do everything in house: we make all our own tile, mix our own glazes and fire in our kilns. We also have custom designed foundry which allows us to create and pour metal on demand. This allows us to customize our art to your needs. We have an in house sculptor, with over 20 years of movie-set experience, that can produce almost anything you can think of. Maybe you’d like your family crest in the middle of your marble foyer or your business logo made into a tile, we can do this. CRStudio4 has been with Ann Sacks for over 17 years. It was within the last few years that we developed an exclusive line with them. In developing this line we handcrafted glazes, decos, moldings, trims and a metal line specifically for Ann Sacks. Ann Sacks is the only place you can get these colors and designs. Because we do everything in studio we can guarantee that you will not find any of these pieces outside of their showroom. Custom exclusive lines are something we can do easily here at CRStudio4 and look forward to accommodating your showroom.

CRStudio4 has been pouring solid bronze and pewteresque tile for more than a decade. We pioneered the metal tile movement, creating installations pairing metal art tile with stone, ceramic and glass. We chose bronze, because just like our stoneware ceramic line, it is solid enough to withstand wear and tear. Each tile is hand poured in our foundry located in our studio. Not only is all of our bronze 99% recycled but we can guarantee it’s composition and ensure consistency in color and texture. Because we do all of our bronze in studio, we can accommodate custom jobs. We employ a world class sculptor who can make molds of just about anything you’d need. Our metal tile line is the real-deal, this is not a metal overlay, we make solid metal tiles built to last.

CRStudio4 specializes in handmade high-fire ceramic stoneware. We use local clay and local glazes guaranteeing that not only is our product one of a kind but that we can ensure the composition of our tile. Because our glazes are hand mixed there is a range to our glaze colors, which means each tile is going to be slightly different from the next. Each tile is handmade, from the block of clay to the finished product, your tile will be touched upwards of ten times. We do not outsource at any point in the process, thus allowing for complete confidence in our product. CRStudio4 was founded because there was an apparent need for good quality art tile in the early 90?s. Started by a pottery artist and ceramicist our tiles are created to serve two purposes: to be functionally sound and to be aesthetically pleasing. Here at CRStudio4 we care about the quality of the tile, but above all we care about artistic integrity. Putting our tile in your home is no different than purchasing art to hang on your walls. We want to give you something that sets your home apart from the rest, to make your home a work of art in itself.
