Background: Tracy Craig, the firm's principal, has over 15 years of professional experience in designing and executing public involvement programs in support of large-scale master planning programs, environmental remediation projects and redevelopment/construction projects. She has been involved in the approval processes for over 50 plus public and private sector projects. She has worked as a public participation specialist for the California Department of Toxic Substances Control, a communications manager for a top 500 environmental engineering and planning firm, and as a writer for a large daily newspaper. Strengths: Ms. Craig specializes in the creation of community outreach programs that engage and involve communities and meet the clients' objectives. She has successfully conducted a variety of public outreach activities including: planning and facilitating community planning charettes and visioning sessions; creating and presenting highly technical project information in a manner that facilitates understanding of project issues through the use of newsletters, flyers, postcards, websites, and presentations; interfacing with local and regional media and creating press packets and site tours; and briefing local officials and key stakeholders. Ms. Rainwater has worked for an environmental engineering firm and various non-profit organizations. Strengths: Ms. Rainwater has provided facilitation services and ongoing consultation with various clients in the areas of team dynamics, communications strategies, alternative dispute resolution, complex problem solving, decision-making, and community relations.
