The Electronics Group designs and manufactures high-density, high-reliability electronics for aerospace, space, military, medical, industrial and commercial applications. From Mars Rovers to implantable defibrillators, from land vehicles to fighter jets, the Electronics Group products have proven their ability to operate in the most demanding environments.

While our businesses, locations and opportunities are very diverse, the ethical standards that have been the hallmark of our Company throughout its history to the present day are rock solid and uniform wherever Crane businesses are operating. Crane Co. was founded in 1855 by Richard Teller Crane who resolved at that time “to conduct my business in the strictest honesty and fairness, to avoid all deception and trickery, to deal fairly with customers and competitors, to be liberal and just toward employees, and to put my whole mind upon the business.” These remain our standards today.

At Crane, corporate citizenship is more than a responsibility: it’s our way of doing business. The concept of corporate responsibility—where companies take responsibility not only for profits but also for the impact of their activities on the many different stakeholders with which it interacts—is the foundation on which our company was built and the common thread that ties together all that we do today.

The recent acquisitions included a state-of-the-art technical center, where engineers work on developing new FRP materials that will further enhance appearance and usability for RV, truck trailer and building industry customers. The segment’s technical expertise should enable it to grow over the long term by partnering with its customers to develop new solutions that meet their specific needs. In addition, the RV market, which is currently experiencing softness, is expected to resume its uptrend as more and more baby boomers enter the highest-purchasing age range.
