Cranmer Engineering, Inc. was established in 1962 in Grass Valley, California, as a partnership of Jim B. Cranmer and G.R. Beechel L.S. to offer civil engineering and land surveying services. In 1964 the partnership was re-organized into two sole proprietorships, and one of the resulting firms, Jim B. Cranmer, Civil Engineer was incorporated in 1968 and became Cranmer Engineering, Inc.

Cranmer Engineering Inc. provides our clients with the surveying edge throughout the project cycle. This is accomplished by combining traditional surveying techniques with advanced surveying technology. All offices are equipped with state-of-the-art technology such as real time kinematic (RTK) global positioning system equipment. Professional staff and the latest in technology enable us to provide increased productivity and innovative solutions for our clients. All field personnel have been trained in safety, cost and budget controls.
