2009 Holiday Tree Angels are everywhere!! Our theme for this year's holiday tree project for Ozaukee Family Services will be angels.We will use matboard shapes to create plaques that can be hung with ribbon from a Christmas tree. One of our members, Jeanne Hesselink of the Brass Needle frame shop has generously donated 200 matboard shapes (circles, squares and ovals all about 4 inches in size and in a variety of colors) for us to decorate in our angel theme. The plaques will be available at the Sept., Oct. and Nov. meetings for you to take home and decorate with angel stamps, quotes or images. For those of us who need inspiration a number of xerox images of angels will also be available for you to color and decorate and mount on the plaques. Thanks to Peggy Rymaszewski for the images! So be prepared to be inspired and take some matboard plaques home to decorate in our angel theme. Remember, angels are everywhere!! OCTOBER UPDATE: Thank you to all of those who took mat board shapes to decorate in our angel theme for the holiday tree at Ozaukee Family Services. I only have about 25 mat board shapes left that need to be decorated! I will bring those to the October meeting. Please bring any completed ornaments to the October meeting. Also please attach a ribbon to the ornament for hanging. All ornaments must be returned to me no later than the November meeting so that I am able to deliver them in time for the holiday program at Ozaukee family services.
