Masland Carpets and Rugs was founded in Pennsylvania in 1866 and still today boasts of its heritage as the leading carpet manufacturer in the United States. Since 1866, Masland has insisted that its carpets and rugs maintain the highest quality. The tradition of manufacturing quality products has been practiced for over 140 years and continues to be practiced today.

This integrated approach to interior space may not be what you expect from a flooring company. But we’re used to doing things differently. Innovation is in our company’s DNA and has been for over 100 years. In 1920 our predecessor company, in an effort to address our customers’ concerns, developed the first integrated steel pail with rubber gaskets. This new pail, which replaced the wooden pail, provided environmental benefits by reducing the need for timber and preventing leakage of toxic materials in the coatings industry.

Kraus is a manufacturer of tufted broadloom carpet and distributor of other flooring products. The company was founded in 1959 by Michael Kraus. Headquartered in Waterloo, Ontario, Canada, Kraus has manufacturing facilities in Waterloo, Ontario, Canada, in Dalton, Georgia, USA and in Southport, Queensland, Australia as well as distribution sites across Canada and the United States. Kraus is a private company with over 900 employees, which is ranked among North America's ten largest flooring companies.
