Now in its 14th year of operations, it was founded in 1996 as Creative Coach Company by Rebecca Vaughn, who is the owner and president of the company. As of March 2011 the Fun Bus has relocated to Lancaster in Fairfield County, Ohio. The company specializes in high-demand entertainment events, such as concerts, casino packages, NASCAR, Ohio State University football, and professional team sports such as the Cleveland Browns, the Cincinnati Bengals, the Cleveland Indians, the Cincinnati Reds, the Columbus Blue Jackets and the Cleveland Cavaliers. A growing part of our business is regular, no-frills getaways to popular destinations such as Chicago and New York. In fact, the FUN BUS travels to New York City over 50 times each year, including specialty tours that may include theater, the Macy’s Thanksgiving Parade, New Year’s Eve and Greenwich Village.

The FUN BUS staff has over 25 years of combined experience in providing school travel packages. We’re proud to say that we offer no “canned” school travel packages! EVERY field trip or travel package is designed specifically for your class. Give us some of the basics— destination, the group size, the duration of the trip, the inclusions (meals, attractions, etc) and your budget. We’ll take it from there!.

Before a driver leaves our office, we make sure that he or she has all the information necessary to get our customers to their destination, ON TIME. We provide maps, detour information, parking information, and local street information to make each trip as seamless as possible. Believe it or not, many coach companies provide the driver the pickup and destination information and let them plan the route from there!.

While our reputation for quality coaches, affordable travel planning and professional coach operators has grown, so has the number and sizes of our always-clean coaches. The FUN BUS currently operates a total of seventeen (17) vehicles. We offer eight (8) motorcoaches (5 full-size and 3 mid-size) that can accommodate groups from 20-56 persons per coach. In fact, the company was started, based on our market research that a significant segment of the potential motorcoach market was not being serviced. That segment was the small to-medium group of 20-30 people. Until the FUN BUS arrived, the alternatives for this market segment were either using a number of vans or using a full-size coach with a lot of empty seats! Even though much of both our retail and private charter business requires the use of larger coaches, the mid-size groups of 20-30 people still comprise a substantial portion of our bookings. In order to provide service to an even smaller market segment, the FUN BUS even offers a custom van with seating up to 11 persons. This vehicle allows most of the same amenities as our larger coaches, but still at an affordable cost.
