A perfume is a mixture of products from natural origins (such as Essential Oils, Absolutes and Resins), nature identical and synthetic materials. The average perfume contains about 50 different raw materials but can consist of 3-200 depending on its use. An essential oil is the naturally extracted essence from various parts of a plant. Essential oils can come from flowers, seeds, stems, roots and other sections of a plant. The most common methods of extracting essentials oils are distillation and expression.
