Creative Hydroponics

Creative Hydroponics began as a home business in 1982 by Arlene Macallister. As the business grew, she opened a retail store in 1985. By 1990, interest in "this new hydroponic technology" gained popularity in the corporate office market. Stronger, healthier plants that needed watering only once every 2-3 weeks was real advance because soil plants need water at least once a week! To meet this demand, Creative Hydroponics recruited the experience of the owner of a large interiorscape company in Chicago, Jeree Harms. Jeree developed a "Hydroponic Nursery" in Florida to grow the hydroponic plants this new market required. These plants include trees up to 15ft tall!
