Description

Chuck Bell - Director of Music Ministries Chuck has served in Methodist Churches full-time as a Music Director and Worship Designer since 1996, but has served in Worship Ministries in other denominations since 1988. He comes to Creekside UMC from Northside UMC in Atlanta, GA where he served as Director of Contemporary Worship. He has worked with churches from the North Georgia Conference, as well as churches out of state, assisting with worship planning and design of new and (reworking) current services. He has also led bands for retreats and conferences.

This is an ongoing ministry that prepares and serves lunch at The Place of Forsyth County. It is the third Wednesday of each month. We invite you to join God where He is at work. The menus are simple, and we provide all the food for each meal. The meal is prepared in our homes and then transported to The Place.

The Bible is God's word to us, our primary source of belief, and our primary authority for action. Human authors wrote the Bible as God inspired them. We believe God guided the early church in selecting the most faithful and useful books as Holy Scripture (Canon). We believe God is at work in us today in our thoughtful reading, meditation and interpretation of Scripture, individually and with others. We interpret the ancient witness in light of both its original meaning and its message for us today.

At Creekside, we are excited that our students lead the way in ministry outside the church. Our missions strategy is to help students understand that life is not all about themselves – it’s about serving others. It is the Biblical example. Each year we provide opportunities to serve others locally, nationally and internationally. We know that students are busier than ever, so we also partner with organizations that make it easy for students to be involved without having to travel all over to serve.
