Our Pattern department is the longest standing component of the Crescent Pattern family. It has stood the test of time and learned to keep the standard of past craftsmanship and combine it with today’s technology to produce the highest quality prototype tooling possible. The Pattern partner/owner has inherited the Crescent name and brings more experience than any. We have seen our company grow from solely a pattern company to what it is today.

Crescent Pattern Company is an Aluminum and Iron castings expert specializing in automotive drive train and engine components. Founded in 1945 by Lyman Sommer, Crescent Pattern has evolved into a complete turnkey operation with respect to aluminum and Iron sand castings.
