Combining their personal knowledge of homebuilding with the insight gained from both satisfied and disappointed homeowners, Roc and Chris determined that the most common problem between Builder and Buyer was the discrepancy between the Buyer's expectations and the Builder's intentions for the home. To address this issue, Crescent Rock, Inc. encourages Buyers to inspect the completed homes of previous Crescent Rock clients as a means to setting their own expectations for the new project. As Roc puts it, "The Buyer can be confident that their new home will be at least as nice as the finished home or model that they view. In fact, it should be much better because constantly improving our craft is what we strive to do. Once we have an agreement as to what our Buyers expect, building a home from that point onward should be fun!" Of course, there are few experiences like building your own home.
