Description
Crime Lab Design is a comprehensive resource for the planning and design of forensic science facilities. Crime Lab Design is the collaboration of Harley Ellis Devereaux, a national architecture and engineering firm specializing in laboratory facilities and Health, Education + Research Associates, Inc. (HERA), a woman-owned laboratory design firm. Together, we have taken crime lab design to the next level on such projects as the Los Angeles Regional Crime Laboratory, a joint lab for Los Angeles City and County; the United States Department of the Interior, Fish & Wildlife Division's, Clark Bavin Laboratory; and many other state and municipal forensic facilities. Forensic science requires unique facilities to meet the scientifically demanding environments in a structure that supports evidence handling procedures and protocols. Crime Lab Design was formed to provide the forensic science community with the programming, planning, design, and engineering expertise required for state-of-the-art forensic science laboratory facilities. We offer the resources of over 500 architects, engineers, and lab planners within an organization focused on the design of laboratory facilities.
