Criterion was founded in Silicon Valley in April 1977. Our longevity and growth has made us one of the largest representative organizations in the marketplace. We represent synergistic industry leaders in the Northern California and Northern Nevada areas. Over the years, our company objective has remained constant, to bring value to the companies we represent, the distributors with whom we work and to the customers we serve. We focus on demand creation as our primary duty via our staff of technical sales engineers, while also providing demand fulfillment with our pervasive sales staff as well. We are proud of our long time reputation for quality consistent sales service. We are fortunate to be perceived by our principals as one of the top representative organizations in North America. We are well positioned for the 21st century. Our sales staff is technically competent with the majority having degrees in electrical engineering or computer science. Several have backgrounds in design engineering and applications engineering. This combined with our focus on leading manufacturers that service the datacom and telecom markets position us well in the new millineum.
