Description

Jim is a proven entrepreneur with over 32 years of experience in the internal audit and accounting profession. He founded CrossCheck Compliance in 2008 to provide financial services organizations access to highly talented regulatory compliance, lending and internal audit professionals. Prior to CrossCheck Compliance he co-founded Jefferson Wells a professional services firm providing business solutions and process improvement to its clients in the areas of internal audit, accounting, tax, and technology risk management. Jefferson Wells was one of the fastest growing private companies in the mid to late 1990’s growing to 25 offices with 1,600 employees and achieving annual sales of $131 million. Prior to joining Jefferson Wells, Jim held various leadership positions in internal auditing for Kraft Incorporated and Tenneco Incorporated He is a Certified Public Accountant, a Certified Internal Auditor, and a Certified Information Systems Auditor. Jim is a graduate of St. Norbert College and holds an MBA from the University of Houston. Michael M. Forester - Managing Director Michael M. Prior to co-founding CrossCheck, he was associated with The Prieston Group, a firm he helped launch that provides fraud prevention, and indemnification services to the mortgage industry. Prior to joining The Prieston Group, he spent 16 years with Household International. During his career with Household, he served in a variety of positions, including national sales director of Household's correspondent mortgage business and chief financial officer of Household's consumer finance business, Household Finance. Mike began his professional career with the accounting firm of Ernst & Young and is a Certified Public Accountant. He is a graduate of the University of Notre Dame and has an MBA from the University of Chicago.
