James Smith has been with CES since 1995 and has over 20 years of experience in the supervision of asbestos abatement projects throughout the United States and over 15 years of experience in commercial general construction. Mr. Smith has experience as an operations manager, supervisor, and estimator of construction, abatement, remediation, and selective demolition projects throughout the United States and abroad.

Cross Environmental Services, Inc., was founded in 1988, and is a family owned and operated specialty contracting company. Our core business activities include interior, external, and commercial demolition, along with asbestos removal, and indoor air-quality projects .

As a Class "A" General Contractor, CES takes pride in our ability to serve our clients with turnkey services regardless of size or complexity of the project. Our corporate office is centrally located in Crystal Springs, Florida with three fully staffed branch offices located in Miami Lakes (South Florida), Ft. Walton Beach (North Florida) and New Orleans, Louisiana. With multiple offices, our state-of-the-art equipment, and a consistent workforce of more than 200 full-time environmental technicians of the highest caliber, we provide our clients with first-class service and expertise.

The Cross Environmental Services GSA contract is very comprehensive as it relates to scope of services. We provide pricing based on type of structure, number of stories, and related building components. The contract is flexible enough to provide demolition services of all types. There are approximately 200 line items available that provide for everything from interior demolition to fence and sign removal as well as complete structural wrecking and debris removal.

Cross Environmental Services, Inc. was founded in 1988 by the President and CEO of the company, Mr. Clyde A. Biston and Mr. John Agan. Mr. Agan died in 1997. CES has grown into one of the largest owner-operated full service environmental, asbestos abatement and demolition firms in the State of Florida.
