Willy Van Hemert, majority owner, launched CRW Engineering in 1981. The company has since grown to its current size of 46 employees with projects throughout Alaska. Our staff includes 19 licensed civil engineers, one licensed electrical engineer and one licensed land surveyor. Our employees operate as a team that is collectively responsible for meeting the goals and needs of our clients. Employees create our spirit and personality which allows us to be successful. At CRW we also emphasize community and having fun. Whether it is floating down the Kenai River on our annual raft trip, playing on a sports team, dressing up during Halloween week or helping out during the Day of Caring, we work hard to have fun and to give back to the community. We recently moved into our newly remodeled office at 3940 Arctic Boulevard, just a few feet away from our former office where we were for more than 15 years. Our new office features a beautifully designed layout with individual offices, a full kitchen on each floor and three spacious conference rooms.
