For coatings requiring neutral pH substrate rinse with mineral salts remover, water, or acid etch, to manufacturers specification to obtain recommended pH or surface characteristics. Treated concrete must be rinsed to remove expelled debris & lower pH. Topcoat selection to be based on topcoat manufacturers pH, mineral salts and surface moisture requirements.
