Description

CSC Paymaster, Inc. began operation in the fall of 1964. It was incorporated in 1968 under the name Computer Service Consultants, Inc. and provided data processing services to an array of business types, including construction companies, retail and wholesale dairies, fuel oil companies, and jewelry concerns in the southern New England area. CSC Paymaster, Inc. was the first commercial "time sharing" facility in the state of Rhode Island, and was profiled in a 1972 business section of the Providence Journal with RI and its first timesharing system, a Honeywell model 1642.

For immediate release: CSC Paymaster Inc., based in Warwick RI, is pleased to announce a partnership with The Washington Trust Company, who has been providing complete banking services to businesses in Southern New England since 1800. CSC Paymaster, Inc. will provide payroll services in its role as Preferred Payroll Provider.
