Description

CSMFO is California's premier statewide association for finance officials from three segments of society: municipal finance officers serving as Finance Directors or cities; finance officers of other "special district" agencies such as water, sanitation and transportation districts; and commercial finance professionals, such as brokers and arbitrage specialists. The benefits of networking with finance officers and commercial associates from cities across the State of California are enormous. CSMFO offers a variety of programs including regular regional meetings (geographical areas are referred to as Chapters), an annual three-day seminar, an annual legislative seminar, other training programs, a directory of all members, and monthly newsletter, the Mini-News. Over a thousand members strong, we promote excellence in financial management through innovation, continuing education and the professional development of our members. CSMFO members are deeply involved in the key issues facing cities today. We value honesty and integrity, and strive to adhere to the highest ethical standards.
