Culinary Translations was founded upon the actual knowledge that Spanish speaking restaurant workers are not getting the food safety training they need and deserve. Paradis worked with a large number of low income women, many of whom worked in restaurants and didn't have the basics of food safety, and the importance of hand washing. Thus Culinary Translations was created to train Spanish speaking restaurant workers in food safety. Founded January, 2004. Culinary Translations has trained hundreds of Spanish speaking restaurant employees in Denver and the Colorado Mountain communities. Food Safety Training is currently being offered in the Vail Valley , Roaring Fork Valley, Summit County, Steamboat Springs, and the Front Range communities.
