Description

In 2001, Kristi Culpepper comes on board as CFO and Jason Casada becomes Production Manager. This same year, we constructed a 25,000 square foot manufacturing plant in China to keep up with demand. Further expansion in 2001 included CNC machinery to produce pre and partially finished material shapes. In 2002, with the stag embargo permanently in place from India, Mother of Pearl Co., Inc. creates a new source of Sambar Stag from Asia. By 2004, the company offers new jigging patterns referred to as “Classic” jigging. Later that year, Barbara retires from the business.

Experience - We’ve been in the business for over 30 years. We have complete control of production, quality control, tolerances and raw material procurement. Customer service - Buy with confidence, we have a 100% return policy and absolutely no restocking fees. Quality - We pioneered the first Pearl grading system in 1983. Prior to this, there was no grading system in the US cutlery industry. Our system is often imitated, but don’t be fooled by imitators. History - We are 8th generation Americans with a good name and a superb reputation. Value - As a customer you get what you pay for.

Our skilled staff has an average of 10 years of experience in this business. We’ve been blessed to have had the opportunity to meet so many talented and hard working people.

As you know, we specialize in exotic and rare natural materials and are limited by the realms of nature with regard to the quality and yield of certain natural materials. Please signify minimums with regard to length, width and thickness as many requests that are heavily oversized rarely get fulfilled. Different materials have different maximum dimensions.
