Description

CEC provided plans, specifications and estimates for the resurfacing of a 5.1 mile section of an existing four lane divided state highway on the west side of Springfield in Sangamon County. Project included the complete reconstruction of the Southwest Plaza Drive intersection. CEC provided plans, specifications and estimates for a future multi-use path and bicycle trail along an existing railroad corridor on the west side of Springfield. Work included Phase I studies and reports, pavement design, railroad bridge inspections and rehabilitation, timber bridge deck design, landscaping and park connectors in coordination with the Springfield Park District and the Illinois Department of Natural Resources.
