Custom Canine’s owner and founder, Earl Dunn, is a certified trainer and behaviorist, Rutgers University graduate, responsible and trustworthy business owner, and an avid animal lover. Some of Earl’s memberships and accomplishments include: AKC Canine Good Citizen evaluator, member of IACP (International Association of Canine Professionals), member of the BBB (Better Business Bureau), and Certified Foundation Dog Trainer. Earl has vast experience ranging from working with client’s dogs, shelter dogs, personal pets and much more. Earl broke into the dog training industry by undertaking several apprenticeships. These multiple apprenticeships provided him with a first hand perspective of the variety of training methods and professionals in the industry. Earl was able to analyze each method and extract the components which he felt were suitable and appropriate for his future training style. Then, Earl found Mike D’Abruzzo at K9-1 Specialized Dog Training in Peekskill, NY. Mike served as Earl’s mentor and immediately welcomed him into his apprenticeship program.
