Founded on the commitment to exceed expectations and add value to every client's operation, Custom Engineering & Fabrication was established in 1999. The company's founders, engineering veteran father and son team, Bill and Bob Hatfield, began the business to meet the need for truly unique, custom solutions in manufacturing industries. The business quickly realized significant growth and, through the hard work and dedication of its team, CE&F continues to prosper. Since Bill's retirement in 2002, Bob has taken CE&F to the next level of success by increasing its client base, adding to its talented staff, and bringing all the company's operations together under one roof at the 2211 Freeman Street facility. As President, Bob oversees all of the company's operations while continuing to deliver the well-known, hands-on service that sets CE&F apart. Bob holds a degree in engineering from Purdue University and has more than twenty years of successful engineering, sales, construction, and entrepreneurial experience to his credit. The CE&F team consists of 40+ employees, including a certified professional engineer (PE). CE&F is a member of the American Foundry Society (AFS).
