Custom Machine has a diverse and flexible inventory system which is capable of reacting to the demands of our customers. We've worked with systems such as KANBAN, JIT, Kitting, PAC and online procurement systems. Utilizing our machine shop ERP software (JobBoss) we're able to set minimum, maximum and reorder levels for all components and assemblies. If inventory levels reach minimum an automated alert is issued; informing Engineering to release a new production lot to the machine shop for manufacturing.

Utilizing advanced manufacturing technologies in CNC Turning, Milling, EDM and Grinding we provide our customer base with quality machined components and assemblies. Our onsite secondary processes (Welding, Silver Brazing, Pressure testing, Leak testing and Vacuum testing) enables us to control the manufacturing process through our machine shop and offer our customers a single source.

Meeting or exceeding industry standards is crucial to Custom Machine; an example of our commitment to meeting these standards is our ISO 9001:2008 and ISO 13485:2003 certifications. Our commitment to quality is evident throughout the manufacturing process; key characteristics are recorded and retained for total traceability from the beginning to the end of the manufacturing cycle. In addition Custom Machine is Nadcap Certified in accordance with SAE Aerospace Standard AS7003 for Nonconventional Machining and Aerospace Quality System (AC7004).

Our Team Custom Machine is a team of approximately 50 dedicated employees consisting of CNC Programmers, Engineers, Machinists and Quality Inspectors. A quality machine shop team producing superior Commercial, Medical and Alternative Energy components to exacting specifications; our superior machining ability is only surpassed by our passion for perfection. The management team provides excellent leadership and the technical knowledge to realize that leading edge technology is important for a machine shop but the best run business's stand on the shoulders of its workers.

Manufacturing processes and programs are closely coordinated to achieve an optimal match of resources in the machine shop for effective cost, quality, and delivery. Decision making involves full team participation and involvement. The team often consists of manufacturing, engineering, purchasing, customers and suppliers. Collaboration between Custom Machine its Suppliers and Customers is a key component to the success of concurrent engineering.
