Since 1981, Custom Mechanical has grown with our community by providing reliable service over two generations of family ownership spanning the last three decades. We don’t believe that “one size fits all.” Instead, we custom craft, design and install the most reliable systems available and we stand behind our work.

Born and raised on Delmarva, Stevie came to us in 2002 with thirty years of experience in HVAC. For the past few years, he has worked closely with our sheet metal, service and estimating departments as a behind-the-scenes support person for new installations. Recently though, he joined our other Steve to provide free estimates for system replacement when you need it.

Since 2006, Connie has worked with our team in the accounting department. As one of the behind-the-scenes support staff, you probably haven't had the pleasure of speaking with Connie on the phone, but she's an integral part of our operation, especially since we started offering our EZ Payments for Service Agreements; she's the one who processes your credit card and makes sure the charge is correct (or corrects it if it isn't).

Jay got his start in the industry as an apprentice in the HVAC field at a small oil company in Baltimore, After two years, Jay completed his Journeyman licensing requirements before becoming a lead HVAC technician where he continued his in-the-field education as well as manufacturer training through the company. Since Jay joined our team in 2003, he has continued to improve his skill set with training through our manufacturers and North American Technical Excellence (NATE) while also obtaining his Master HVAC licenses in Maryland and Delaware.
