Business Strategy CyBio develops, produces, sells and services pipetting and plate handling products. Over and above its core segments, CyBio has successfully extended its offerings to the market segments of system integration and contract development. Our products are sold by our dedicated sales force and a global network of distributors. CyBio's clients are leading pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies, as well as academic research institutes.

The quality of assay results depends on multiple factors: the sensitivity, specificity and robustness of the assay technology, the quality of the reagents and the quality of the process execution. In drug discovery the importance of cellular assays is still increasing. A key factor to reliable process quality is automation as this ensures equal treatment of all samples. In addition, automation enables high throughput and low volume assays, offering significant time and cost savings.

Thomas Moore was Executive Manager of OPALJENA GmbH (which was the former name of CyBio Instruments GmbH) from 1996 until 2002. From 1991 to 1996 he managed the R&D activities of JENOPTRON GmbH. Since September 2009 Thomas Moore is member of the Executive Management Board of CyBio AG and responsible for Sales and R&D. Mr Moore has experience in the fields of optics, optoelectronics, lab automation and liquid handling. He is very much acquainted with the HTS-pharmaceutical market and CyBio's customers. Since March 27, 2013 Mr Moore represents the company as sole member of the Executive Board.

Since 2009 CyBio is part of the Analytik Jena Life Science division . The Analytik Jena AG is a global represented and leading manufacturer of analytical and bioanalytical systems for industrial and scientific applications.
