ARENA VIDEO DISPLAY BOARD ADVERTISING In January 2005, the DCU Center installed an integrated scoring, video and advertising display system for a cost of $2.1 million dollars in the Arena to replace the previous scoreboard. This unique system features a state-of-the-art center-hung Video Display Board incorporating the latest in video technology. Measuring approximately 13 feet high by 18 feet wide by 18 feet deep, the Video Display Board incorporates eight full-color displays.

For over three decades, the DCU Center in Worcester, Massachusetts has been recognized as the gathering place for people to experience the finest in entertainment, sporting events and public functions. Hailed as one of the most successful entertainment and convention facilities in the nation, the DCU Center opened its doors in September 1982 with the legendary Frank Sinatra Inaugural Concert. Since then, acts of all musical genres have found their way to the arena stage.

The Zone is a full-service bar located at Section 117 on the Arena concourse. Positioned behind the zone the Worcester Sharks attack twice, the Zone opened in October 2007 and was designed to provide an exceptional view for Worcester Sharks Hockey games. The Zone is open for all Sharks home games (reserved for season ticket holders pre-game until the puck drops), and for most other Arena events. The Zone features 5 plasma TVs where you can catch up on the game scores of your favorite teams, while grabbing a drink and socializing with friends and other fans.

Continuing to provide the best possible experience for the promoter, performer and patron, the DCU Center is owned by the City of Worcester and managed by SMG, the world's leading private management and developing firm for public assembly facilities.
